Our girl, Green Mountain Minnie

Minnie came to us from North Carolina.
Her mother, Cherry, had the best hips in the breed. Cherry was from Wingler's Becca, known for her excellent temperament.
See the litter page for a link to her pedigree.

When the litter was born all the pups looked like black guinea pigs. We didn't particularly want a black dog, but at one week old Minnie was the only female left with a long tail. So, we decided to take her, and we watched with great interest as the breeder put up weekly litter pictures.  We enjoy the way she turned out.

She must have been about 6 months here.

When she was 15 months we took her to Ann Malphrus for PennHIP.
The scores came back: left 0.47, right 0.45.
No evidence of DJD, no evidence of cavitation.
These scores show that her hips are tighter than 60% of the 241 English Shepherds who have had this test done up to April 2012.

While she was a puppy we put tomato cages around the blueberries.

She loves to run.
Her coloring at about 11 weeks
